Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

The store bills it, so the store cancels it. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: the Play Store app → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. You keep the subscription until the end of the period you have already paid for.

I subscribed, but the app still shows the free version

Open Settings → Gokin Subscription and tap Restore. That asks the store what you own and unlocks it again — useful on a new phone, or after reinstalling. Make sure you are signed into the same App Store or Google Play account that bought it.

My sign-in link never arrived

Check the spam folder first, and that the address is the one you signed up with. Links expire, so request a fresh one rather than reusing an old email. If nothing arrives, write to support@gokin.app from that address and we will sort it out.

Can I use Gokin without an account?

No. Signing in is what keeps your history, your Metals and your Node levels attached to you rather than to one phone, so they survive a lost or replaced device.

How do I get a copy of my data?

Email privacy@gokin.app from the address your account signs in with. We will send your account details, your workout history, your forges and your saved workouts as spreadsheet files, free of charge, within 30 days.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. It removes the account and everything filed under it. You can also ask by email — the steps are in the privacy policy. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription; cancel that in your store settings first.

Does Gokin work without a signal?

Yes. Building a workout, the timers, logging sets and swapping a station all run on your phone. A finished workout uploads when you are back online.
